Grêmio Santo André's Ernani Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Grêmio Santo André's Ernani Ribeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jeferson Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 马海川 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Nascimento in the 22nd minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 马海川. 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dalmacio Vermudo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 马海川. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. The throw-in from Bernie Strauss in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』's 吕翔强. Ladislav Telepovský came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』's 庞康梁. But to his dismay, 庞康梁 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 马海川 made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Dalmacio Vermudo sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Ding 丁 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio Santo André the free kick. After 45 played minutes 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』 got a freekick which was hit by Ding 丁. It was beautiful to see Grêmio Santo André's Bernie Strauss in action when he in the 47th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marek Dres to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Telmo da Mata in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』's 吕翔强. 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』's 庞康梁 got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marek Dres's late challenge caught a Grêmio Santo André's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Dres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64thth minute of the game Ernani Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』's 马海川 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 庞康梁 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Ladislav Telepovský made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Santana came free, but 马海川 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 minutes, 叶俊 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』 and the Grêmio Santo André players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grêmio Santo André booed when 【AC】浙江宁海『ＤＩＮ』 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. 叶俊 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Vermudo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 马海川 having to make a save. Benedito Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-2 when 庞康梁 sped through Grêmio Santo André's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ladislav Telepovský. When Jeferson Santana came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Grêmio Santo André fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeferson Santana couldn't finish the play. Grêmio Santo André's Ladislav Telepovský proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Santo André from getting a goal against them. 马海川 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Ribeiro in the 93rd minute of the match.
