If Lamine Xande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xande Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xande Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Durvalino Travassos in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gilberto Loreto. The supporters of ★Independiente Ψ★ booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas De la Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gabriel-Omar Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xande Buffon was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. ★Independiente Ψ★'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adan Aresti in the 22nd minute. Nicolas Salomon made a great header on ★Independiente Ψ★'s corner, it was just that New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xande Buffon managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 25 minutes, Gabriel-Omar Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★Independiente Ψ★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel-Omar Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Durvalino Travassos in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gilberto Loreto. In the 28th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xande Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gabriel-Omar Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xande Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Xandinho Thuram hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When ★Independiente Ψ★'s Gabriel-Omar Batista in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Durvalino Travassos hit a great ball. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Maximiliano Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Xande in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel-Omar Batista got free with Xande Buffon in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Durvalino Travassos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. In the 46th minute, Durvalino Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lamine Xande made a kick off. Lamine Xande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Maximiliano Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel-Omar Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xande Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Gabriel-Omar Batista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xande Buffon having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel-Omar Batista came free, but Xande Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xande Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel-Omar Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ★Independiente Ψ★ made a substitution. Lei Feng Ying replaced Gabriel-Omar Batista. Xandinho Kane made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jacob Santalla however managed to control. 68 minutes into the game, Alfonso Musso threw the ball into play from the sideline. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Kane quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Xande Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Feng Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lei Feng Ying recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xande Buffon had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Jairo Hotz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Lei Feng Ying had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xande Buffon. New Joinville - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lei Feng Ying was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. ★Independiente Ψ★'s Jay-Jay Okocha was substituted for Alfonso Musso. ★Independiente Ψ★'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
