The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Corralito AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dennis Espeland hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, Bebeto Chaves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eulalio Iturri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eulalio Iturri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bebeto Chaves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. A collision led to Hortensia FCG getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Serafino Ferran hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Serafino Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Bebeto Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corralito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebeto Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hortensia FCG's goalkeeper Eulalio Iturri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentin Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eulalio Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Julio Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hortensia FCG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corralito AFC the free kick. A collision led to Hortensia FCG getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Julio Napier hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Bebeto Chaves notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Hortensia FCG's Eulalio Iturri. Eulalio Iturri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Eulalio Iturri managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Corralito AFC's Bebeto Chaves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute, Julio Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Corralito AFC made a substitution. Robustiano Jayvier replaced Valentin Quinto. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bebeto Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bebeto Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute, Bebeto Chaves made a precise shot to the right of Eulalio Iturri. Hortensia FCG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Chaves in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Iturri saved Hortensia FCG from getting behind. A collision led to Hortensia FCG getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Isidoro Tercero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hortensia FCG's Serafino Ferran got a free kick in the 61st minute. Eulalio Iturri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bebeto Chaves went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Eulalio Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Iniesta kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Robustiano Jayvier struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Eulalio Iturri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corralito AFC. Eulalio Iturri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bebeto Chaves's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. If Bebeto Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bebeto Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Hortensia FCG's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Chaves came free, but Eulalio Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Bebeto Chaves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corralito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Eulalio Iturri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bebeto Chaves's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If Bebeto Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bebeto Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Iturri having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hortensia FCG defense, Bebeto Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Iturri. The Hortensia FCG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Iturri should have stopped the shot. Eulalio Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Montrelle in the 91st minute of the match. Eulalio Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corralito AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
