The corner ended in Laureano Portugal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hortensia FCG's Eulalio Iturri did a great save. Eulalio Iturri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Belchior Valadão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Laureano Portugal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eulalio Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentim Castilho got free with Eulalio Iturri in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belchior Valadão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eulalio Iturri came out and tried to block the shot, but Belchior Valadão slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Eulalio Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belchior Valadão in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Hortensia FCG getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Delmar Quico hit a great ball. Hortensia FCG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Belchior Valadão scored to the left of an out of position Eulalio Iturri, making the score, 3-0. In the 25th minute, Belchior Valadão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Valentim Castilho made a precise shot to the right of Eulalio Iturri. Hortensia FCG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Hortensia FCG's Eulalio Iturri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Hortensia FCG from getting a goal against them. Valentim Castilho struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Eulalio Iturri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eureka. Hortensia FCG's Eulalio Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior Valadão in the 36th minute of play. Eureka's Valentim Castilho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 43rd play minutes Laureano Portugal shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Eulalio Iturri and just under the crossbar into goal. With an all-out effort, Eureka's Eulalio Iturri threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laureano Portugal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Iraido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Hortensia FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Napier to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Amado, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Valentim Castilho made a precise shot to the right of Eulalio Iturri. Hortensia FCG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Luís Barroso took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eulalio Iturri. Eulalio Iturri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The supporters of Eureka booed when Hortensia FCG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Valentim Castilho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eureka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentim Castilho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Belchior Valadão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eulalio Iturri. Hortensia FCG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belchior Valadão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. 64 minutes into the game, Anacleto Lalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Salvador Sordo. Anacleto Lalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 11-1. Eulalio Iturri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Portugal went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-1 was the resulting score. Eulalio Iturri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentim Castilho went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-1 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Laureano Portugal notched a goal, 14-1, to the right of Hortensia FCG's Eulalio Iturri. Eulalio Iturri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 75 played minutes Hortensia FCG got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Iraido. Valentim Castilho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute Laureano Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentim Castilho in the 80th minute of play forced Hortensia FCG's goalkeeper Eulalio Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Eureka's Laureano Portugal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eulalio Iturri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-1. 87 minutes into the match, Belchior Valadão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eulalio Iturri. Hortensia FCG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belchior Valadão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-1. 90 minutes into the match, Valentim Castilho notched a goal, 17-1, to the right of Hortensia FCG's Eulalio Iturri. Eulalio Iturri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eulalio Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Castilho in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Eureka had played much better football throughout.
