An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Regueira in the 11th minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Wachirapong Wattanachinda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Baal Grunberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Santana. AD FAFE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baal Grunberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tiaguinho Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Baal Grunberg in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filomeno Santana, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wachirapong Wattanachinda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Regueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AD FAFE's Filomeno Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Sandoval in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match, Baal Grunberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filomeno Santana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 26th minute of the match Clube do Remo MZ got a corner. AD FAFE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Didi Mello ran over to the corner to take the kick. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Tiaguinho Mandrak kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Filomeno Santana never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baal Grunberg in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Baal Grunberg sped through AD FAFE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filomeno Santana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Grunberg in the 33rd minute of play forced AD FAFE's goalkeeper Filomeno Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Santana came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Dagoberto Sandoval. But to his dismay, Dagoberto Sandoval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Tiaguinho Mandrak sped through AD FAFE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filomeno Santana. 43 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Sandoval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube do Remo MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AD FAFE the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Clube do Remo MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Sandoval to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Nick van Goetsenhoven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baal Grunberg was the one to do the kick off. Virgill Van Dijk hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Baal Grunberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AD FAFE's Filomeno Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wachirapong Wattanachinda was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Sanne. When the referee ended the match the Clube do Remo MZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
