The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Santos Borré got free with Hipolito Herena in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mosbius Designs's Hipolito Herena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Mosbius Designs from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute A.D Atlético Villa Gesell were awarded a corner. Anier Pereyra went to the cornerflag to take it. Anier Pereyra made a great header on A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's corner, it was just that Mosbius Designs's Hipolito Herena managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Jaume in the 22nd minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Severo Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Rafael Santos Borré got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Nunez Jaume made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Rafael Santos Borré left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rafael Santos Borré scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hipolito Herena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Rafael Santos Borré managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Santos Borré was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Herena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of A.D Atlético Villa Gesell booed when Mosbius Designs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Laurendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Gau during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave A.D Atlético Villa Gesell a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Herena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hipolito Herena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Santos Borré went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Rafael Santos Borré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Hipolito Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Santos Borré might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Herena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Santos Borré ran back to his position shaking his head. Hipolito Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Santos Borré in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.D Atlético Villa Gesell fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mosbius Designs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
