When Rickard Erserman came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Inter de Chillán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickard Erserman couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Arano got free with Anton Björnberg in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rickard Erserman in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Matthew saved Huarriors AFC from getting behind. In the 17thth minute of the game Alejandro Martinez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Chillán's Anton Björnberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florencio Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Erserman in the 24th minute of play forced Huarriors AFC's goalkeeper David Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Rickard Erserman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Huarriors AFC's Victor Molin got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 45 played minutes Huarriors AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Nazario. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rickard Erserman to make the kick off. The supporters of Huarriors AFC booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Erserman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Martinez came free, but Anton Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Huarriors AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inter de Chillán:s goal. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Inter de Chillán's Fernán Chiquillo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of David Matthew. David Matthew came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman. But to his dismay, Rickard Erserman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 66th minute Alejandro Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eladio Araujo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Matthew was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Eladio Araujo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Matthew came out and tried to block the shot, but Eladio Araujo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Eladio Araujo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. David Matthew was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Huarriors AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eladio Araujo came free, but David Matthew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Huarriors AFC's Stefan Strobos got a free kick in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eladio Araujo in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Matthew prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eladio Araujo let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 90th minute shot 0-6 at rihgt post.
