The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 8th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Ripa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauro Quirino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Quirino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aldo Mannie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gu Chang Peng took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Raphael Dantas to make any attempt to save it. Ripa FC's attentive Magnus Löfdahl managed to snatch the ball when Sílvio Luiz Vieira made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Raphael Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Ripa FC's Smith Wigglesworth to fire away a dangerous shot which Raphael Dantas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gu Chang Peng received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raphael Dantas came out and tried to block the shot, but Gu Chang Peng slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 25th minute. With his leg Raphael Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gu Chang Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The throw-in from Pedro Luiz Dantas in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ripa FC's Braulio Emeterio. Mauro Quirino made a great header on Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s corner, it was just that Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Simo Mihklisaar made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Thanos in the 54th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gu Chang Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Dantas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Ripa FC were awarded a corner. Smith Wigglesworth went to the cornerflag to take it. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simo Mihklisaar in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Emiliano Toribio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Tehas in the 62nd minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Raphael Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Dantas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ripa FC's Cirilo Oriche quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Raphael Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Bochini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franz Grassme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Dantas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Smith Wigglesworth in the 89th minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Raphael Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Grassme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raphael Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 97th minute of the match.
