In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th minute, Albino Zenteno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gu Chang Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Erserman came free, but Aldo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gu Chang Peng in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Erserman in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ripa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobías Izamit was slow to take the kick. During this time Inter de Chillán's players had a chance to rest. After 20 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Mercurio San Martín. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 22nd minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Ripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Tomi to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rickard Erserman in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Mannie saved Ripa FC from getting behind. Ripa FC's attentive Prospero Tomi managed to snatch the ball when Albino Zenteno made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Aldo Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Erserman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Tobías Izamit got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aldo Mannie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rickard Erserman to strike the kick off in the second half. Ripa FC's Alvaro Jakes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tobías Izamit, made in the 53rd minute of the game. When Ripa FC's Gu Chang Peng in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de Chillán's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute Samuel Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Samuel Abel made a precise shot to the right of Aldo Mannie. Ripa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Abel came free, but Aldo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Abel in the 59th minute of the match. Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo was substituted for Rickard Erserman. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gu Chang Peng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ripa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gu Chang Peng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Björnberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Björnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Chang Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gu Chang Peng had several of the Inter de Chillán's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Anton Björnberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ripa FC's Franz Grassme was substituted for Gu Chang Peng. Ripa FC's Ricardo Bochini was substituted for Joel Tehas. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Jax in the 74th minute of play. Anton Björnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 80th minute of play. Alfonso Sotta kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Samuel Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Mannie having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Inter de Chillán's Mercurio San Martín got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franz Grassme. In the 93rd minute Eladio Araujo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eladio Araujo came free, but Aldo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ripa FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
