Elari Eesti scored 0-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Di Scord, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute of the match Lobster if got a corner. La Coruña FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Helge Trillkott ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Coruña FC's Moises Francho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Överman in the 45th minute of play. When Lobster if's Sune Överman in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Coruña FC's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the game, La Coruña FC's Elari Eesti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Di Scord made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Zbigniew Pazura kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Elari Eesti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Di Scord was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Ediberto Leal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Di Scord made a huge save. Di Scord made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Elari Eesti sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Arnau during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Octavio Arnau kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Helge Trillkott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lobster if booed when La Coruña FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Pazura didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over La Coruña FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lobster if throughout the match.
