Dragos Enicov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bixintxo Pereña, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Antonio Cacciatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaunti Requenes having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Erauso Opacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Antonio Cacciatore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaunti Requenes was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Cacciatore in the 13th minute of play forced La Fusiion's goalkeeper Jaunti Requenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ajax Academy booed when La Fusiion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahiano Puntones didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Fusiion's zone, Antonio Cacciatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaunti Requenes came out of the goal and Antonio Cacciatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Ajax Academy's Dragos Enicov got control of the ball when Bixintxo Pereña tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Bixintxo Pereña dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dragos Enicov, 1-0. Bahiano Puntones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dragos Enicov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaunti Requenes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Cacciatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Antonio Cacciatore came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ajax Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Cacciatore couldn't finish the play. Ajax Academy's Gong Yan Bin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaunti Requenes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Cacciatore in the 29th minute of play. Antonio Cacciatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Fusiion's Feliu Iribe got a free kick in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Antonio Cacciatore put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jaunti Requenes. Jaunti Requenes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Yan Bin in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonio Cacciatore was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Gong Yan Bin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ajax Academy were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after La Fusiion's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruslan Plesca took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ruslan Plesca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jaunti Requenes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd minute Antonio Cacciatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaunti Requenes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Cacciatore in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaunti Requenes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erauso Opacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dragos Enicov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ajax Academy made a substitution. Marius Cazacu replaced Nicolae Carabulea. In the 83rd minute Gong Yan Bin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaunti Requenes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Ajax Academy's Jaunti Requenes threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antonio Cacciatore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bahiano Puntones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragos Enicov having to interfere. Antonio Cacciatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jaunti Requenes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliu Iribe during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Fusiion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 97th minute Bixintxo Pereña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragos Enicov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ajax Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
