When Olov Deckberg fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK FOTBOLL's protests and gave Olov Deckberg a yellow card for diving instead. Adam Harasimowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hudson Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Nykvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Olov Deckberg was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 46th match minute, AIK FOTBOLL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Deckberg to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

AIK FOTBOLL's Teodosio Garci managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bjarke Lockwood in the 51 minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Bjarke Lockwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AIK FOTBOLL's Jörn Hylander was substituted for Gürkan Gurka. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when S.e Cadilli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarke Lockwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Bjarke Lockwood in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AIK FOTBOLL's Teodosio Garci. Hudson Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Fransson in the 78th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Fredrik Axelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson Moreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ove Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Many of S.e Cadilli's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. S.e Cadilli may have spent more time on the ball, but AIK FOTBOLL were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
