Arkadiusz Mondrowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per-Oskar Nykvist went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Oskar Nykvist in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Mondrowski saved KS KRUK from getting behind. Sebastian Gasteiz hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Michel Bergendahl fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK FOTBOLL's protests and gave Michel Bergendahl a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Michel Bergendahl. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Sebastian Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS KRUK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Gasteiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Kilström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 60 minutes, Sebastian Szarmach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS KRUK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Szarmach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AIK FOTBOLL made a substitution. Fredrik Axelsson replaced Per-Oskar Nykvist. In the 64th minute, Arkadiusz Brzonkala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS KRUK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Arkadiusz Mondrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Axelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the AIK FOTBOLL defense, Damian Bulkiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Kilström. The AIK FOTBOLL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Kilström should have stopped the shot. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Brzonkala in the 97th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the AIK FOTBOLL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KS KRUK.
