In the 12th minute Metal Juniors were awarded a corner. Reinaldo Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Păvăloae was a little too slow when Burak Murat got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ma Hai Nan got free with Daniel Păvăloae in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Maël Colombet came free, but Daniel Păvăloae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Păvăloae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burak Murat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Păvăloae made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Maël Colombet sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Păvăloae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maël Colombet in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maël Colombet in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Păvăloae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Hai Nan in the 34th minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Daniel Păvăloae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Burak Murat made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Păvăloae. Metal Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Hendrik Kramer came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo. But to his dismay, Martín Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Daniel Păvăloae was a little too slow when Maël Colombet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martín Palermo to make the kick off.
