Fabien Barthez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Fransson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zagórna's Jan-Åke Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute of the match Zagórna got a corner. Egg Chasers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florian Kapinos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Zagórna's Uluç Tekinalp got a free kick in the 14th minute. Jan-Åke Fransson took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabien Barthez. Fabien Barthez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Jan-Åke Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan-Åke Fransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabien Barthez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Fabien Barthez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uluç Tekinalp went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Fransson in the 43rd minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jasper Delamore to make the kick off. Fabien Barthez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Åke Fransson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 54 minute of play. Jan-Åke Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Fabien Barthez made a huge save. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matthew Brookman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marian Gniech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zagórna's Jaroslaw Milko was substituted for Florian Kapinos. Jan-Åke Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zagórna made a substitution. Tiburcio Kiliz replaced Gwidon Arnista. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan-Åke Fransson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabien Barthez. That made the score 0-9 in the 85 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Fransson came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Tiburcio Kiliz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Fransson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabien Barthez, 0-10. Zagórna played a much better game than Egg Chasers FC and deserved their victory. The Egg Chasers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
