After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Jrs's zone, Benny Stahlschmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Manni came out of the goal and Benny Stahlschmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benny Stahlschmidt fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiev FC's protests and gave Benny Stahlschmidt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chacarita Jrs booed when Kiev FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Stahlschmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Manni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Iturri in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Kiev FC's Anselmo Iturri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Manni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chacarita Jrs's Erubiel Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Iturri in the 13th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Benny Stahlschmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Chacarita Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Iturri came free, but Erubiel Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Iturri in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Manni saved Chacarita Jrs from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Kiev FC's Anselmo Iturri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Manni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita Jrs's goalkeeper Erubiel Manni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erubiel Manni came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Kiev FC's Anselmo Iturri. But to his dismay, Anselmo Iturri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Chacarita Jrs's Izydor Wodaszak got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiev FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frederico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Kiev FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Iturri to make the kick off. Cirilo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Bertran in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Chacarita Jrs booed when Kiev FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Bertran in the 64th minute of play forced Kiev FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Izydor Wodaszak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hu Yang made a great header on Chacarita Jrs's corner, it was just that Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico managed to reach the ball for a save. After 78 minutes, Hipolito Argider mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita Jrs and the Kiev FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erubiel Manni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anselmo Iturri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. Kiev FC made a substitution. Rodolfo Burni replaced Alvaro Gartxot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita Jrs's goalkeeper Erubiel Manni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Chacarita Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Palban. In the 95th minute, Erubiel Ramond left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kiev FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.
