After taking down the ball on Husaria Tarnów's corner Szczepan Czubski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Grzegorz Olszewski quite easily take care of the ball. Sparta LKS's Sixten Bokelund was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Cavad Lider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sparta LKS's Grzegorz Olszewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stanislaw Gargasz in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wladyslaw Wietrzychowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the game, Sixten Bokelund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Wladyslaw Wietrzychowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cavad Lider in the 38th minute of play forced Sparta LKS's goalkeeper Grzegorz Olszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Lucas Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Olszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marko Vooro to make the kick off. Wladyslaw Wietrzychowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Gargasz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Husaria Tarnów getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tobiasz Sroka hit a great ball. Tobiasz Sroka kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Lech Glozor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wladyslaw Wietrzychowski.
