Esteve Blanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svetoslav Vardarov in the 6th minute. Donato Erramun made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Expresso Ranelagh's Aldo Gorosti. In the 11th minute Josiah Mwangi Rop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Blanco made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mauro Lugo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Expresso Ranelagh getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Apostolis Lagidis hit a great ball. Estrellas de Caballito's Esteve Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetoslav Vardarov in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Svetoslav Vardarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosendo Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Patxi in the 34th minute of the match. Esteve Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svetoslav Vardarov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Josiah Mwangi Rop came free, but Rosendo Gitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svetoslav Vardarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Blanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Rosendo Gitano came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrellas de Caballito's Josiah Mwangi Rop. But to his dismay, Josiah Mwangi Rop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Estrellas de Caballito were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svetoslav Vardarov to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Expresso Ranelagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolis Lagidis to maneuver through the defense. Expresso Ranelagh's Rosendo Gitano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Expresso Ranelagh from getting a goal against them. Svetoslav Vardarov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Blanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Expresso Ranelagh. Apostolis Lagidis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Esteve Blanco. 1-2. Svetoslav Vardarov struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Esteve Blanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Expresso Ranelagh. Expresso Ranelagh's Rosendo Gitano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Expresso Ranelagh from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Lugo in the 64th minute of play forced Estrellas de Caballito's goalkeeper Esteve Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Gitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josiah Mwangi Rop, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rosendo Gitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Fernendo in the 73rd minute of play forced Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Rosendo Gitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Estrellas de Caballito defense, Svetoslav Vardarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Blanco. The Estrellas de Caballito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Blanco should have stopped the shot. Esteve Blanco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 邓昆烽's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Josiah Mwangi Rop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Josiah Mwangi Rop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrellas de Caballito's supporters rose to their feet, but Josiah Mwangi Rop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Gitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Fernendo in the 94th minute of play. Rosendo Gitano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Donato Erramun.
