The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 minutes Chacarita Futsal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Apostolis Lagidis who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Apostolis Lagidis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Ángel Santoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 13 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Rosendo Gitano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Cayo. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Cayo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rosendo Gitano. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. After some careless play in the Chacarita Futsal defense, Svetoslav Vardarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro. The Chacarita Futsal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Ángel Santoro should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Perez in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Gitano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svetoslav Vardarov in the 24th minute of play forced Chacarita Futsal's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Gitano made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Evaristo Perez sent off a good shot on target. Genaro Min hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Evaristo Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Gitano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Expresso Ranelagh's Rosendo Gitano got control of the ball when Evaristo Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Expresso Ranelagh's goalkeeper Rosendo Gitano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Chacarita Futsal defense, Svetoslav Vardarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro. The Chacarita Futsal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Ángel Santoro should have stopped the shot. The Chacarita Futsal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Expresso Ranelagh were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Perez made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Lugo. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chacarita Futsal's Evaristo Perez managed to work through Expresso Ranelagh's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Evaristo Perez dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Chacarita Futsal's Arild Nodland was substituted for Esteve Pero. Chacarita Futsal's Xesc Labarra was substituted for Evaristo Perez. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svetoslav Vardarov in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 邓昆烽 in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Santoro saved Chacarita Futsal from getting behind. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chacarita Futsal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Apostolis Lagidis was slow to take the kick. During this time Expresso Ranelagh's players had a chance to rest. In the 80th minute, Moises Cayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Gitano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Expresso Ranelagh's Cornel Mutu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dalmacio Karmel, made in the 91st minute of the game. Arild Nodland struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rosendo Gitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita Futsal. Expresso Ranelagh's Rosendo Gitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arild Nodland in the 93rd minute of play. Chacarita Futsal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Augusto Rosalio in the 94th minute. After taking down the ball on Chacarita Futsal's corner Augusto Rosalio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rosendo Gitano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 96th minute, Xesc Labarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Gitano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4.
