In the 22nd minute Zé Roberto Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Perez in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarbas Guedes saved S S Palestra Italia from getting behind. Chacarita Futsal were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after S S Palestra Italia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Rosalio took the corner. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Roberto Moura in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Santoro saved Chacarita Futsal from getting behind. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Zé Roberto Moura sped through Chacarita Futsal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro. After a defensive mix-up in S S Palestra Italia's zone, Moises Cayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Guedes came out of the goal and Moises Cayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Evaristo Perez made the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jarbas Guedes made a huge save. In the 59th minute Zé Roberto Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chacarita Futsal made a substitution. Arild Nodland replaced Esteve Pero. Chacarita Futsal's Miguel Ángel Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Figueiredo in the 63rd minute of play. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Moura came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arild Nodland struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Jarbas Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita Futsal. In the 77th minute, Zé Roberto Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xesc Labarra in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Rony Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Figueiredo in the 83rd minute of play. Serafim Hermes hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chacarita Futsal booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarbas Guedes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arild Nodland showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 95 minute of play. The S S Palestra Italia support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
