In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's goalkeeper John Osomo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 played minutes PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by João Arruda. The throw-in from Valério Alves in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's 陆亦明. After 27 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Valério Alves. Clarence Seedorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Örjan Björkdahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Munhoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Björkdahl ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Örjan Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Örjan Björkdahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Örjan Björkdahl notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Psiu!'s José Munhoz. José Munhoz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 37 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Munhoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Psiu!'s goalkeeper José Munhoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Örjan Björkdahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Munhoz having to make a save. José Munhoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Örjan Björkdahl in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Björkdahl got free with José Munhoz in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Ademar Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, one of Psiu!:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 59 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Örjan Björkdahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but José Munhoz made a huge save. Örjan Björkdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Munhoz having to interfere. Örjan Björkdahl scored 0-8 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Munhoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Ademar Rodrigues dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Örjan Björkdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Björkdahl in the 95th minute of play forced Psiu!'s goalkeeper José Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Chico Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
