The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when Cavalerii Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Cavalerii Viola's Olimpiu Şelaru got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, one of Cavalerii Viola:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 1-2 after a penalty in the 30th minute, where Consejo del Mate:s Javier Betadur tricked Cavalerii Viola:s Mugurel Puișoru with a difficult ball by the left post. In the 36th minute, Bolo Bolaño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugurel Puișoru was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Consejo del Mate's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iker Galo was slow to take the kick. During this time Cavalerii Viola's players had a chance to rest. In the 53rd minute of the match, Gavril Zăraşcu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Orlando Gatti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. He Shu Xun charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed He Shu Xun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Cavalerii Viola got a freekick which was hit by He Shu Xun. Mugurel Puișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolo Bolaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peyo Fonelleda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugurel Puișoru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play.
