Ryszard Wnukowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mastur Bateman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Pimentel in the 24th minute of play forced INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Ntinos Balouris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Artur Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arsenal booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kuddusî Müftüoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Edward Dziatkowski made a precise shot to the right of Ntinos Balouris. INTERISTAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Ntinos Balouris came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal's Artur Faron. But to his dismay, Artur Faron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 43rd play minute Giotis Kourmouzis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ntinos Balouris. 8-0. INTERISTAS's Ntinos Balouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giotis Kourmouzis in the 46th minute of play. Ryszard Wnukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mastur Bateman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

When Bernabe Odon came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Odon couldn't finish the play. Artur Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arsenal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
