In the 14thth minute of the game Nevada Etxeberria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lucio Toxeiro came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the ALPUJARRAS LIBRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Toxeiro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nevada Etxeberria in the 17th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nevada Etxeberria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nevada Etxeberria took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brazilio Butt. Brazilio Butt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dalmai Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nevada Etxeberria in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nevada Etxeberria in the 31st minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nevada Etxeberria, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 63rd minute Nevada Etxeberria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Erik Dahlman charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Erik Dahlman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Dahlman to maneuver through the defense. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Gaston Cayuela was substituted for Nevada Etxeberria. In the 69th minute, Jerry Jonasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
