The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Xandeco FC's Edmund Balkiewicz, in the 3rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Xandeco FC. Guga de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Xandeco FC booed when Lirarnas Lag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo got control of the ball when Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Åke Hjelm hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Magnus Arenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Vander, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pang Hai Yue during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pang Hai Yue hit a great ball. Rune Grep stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Balkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hjalmar Kråk. If Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmund Balkiewicz to make the kick off. Rune Grep was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 51 minute of play. Rune Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 66th minute, Hjalmar Kråk made a precise shot to the right of Guga de Azevedo. Xandeco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Xandeco FC's zone, Hjalmar Kråk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga de Azevedo came out of the goal and Hjalmar Kråk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Xandeco FC's Edmund Balkiewicz in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lirarnas Lag's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87thth minute of the game Edmund Balkiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Xandeco FC's Edmund Balkiewicz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Hjalmar Kråk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Guga de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xandeco FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
