An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Nykvist in the 22nd minute of play forced Buldogi's goalkeeper Saturnino Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Benficajuvestars got a corner. Buldogi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerry Nykvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Benficajuvestars's 魏常适 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Buldogi's Saturnino Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Vilas Boas in the 25th minute of play. Rui Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Dytrych, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Zula Dytrych made a precise shot to the right of Rui Patrício. Benficajuvestars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mikolaj Maciejewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Patrício having to interfere. Benficajuvestars's supporters crossed their fingers, but 魏常适 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ziemowit Moczkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Zula Dytrych made the kick off in the second half.
