Magallanes's Seran Turres shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rui Patrício but with some difficulty. Rui Patrício made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Juan Mondaca sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Dessauer in the 31st minute of play forced Benficajuvestars's goalkeeper Rui Patrício to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Nykvist in the 32nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jerry Nykvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ksawery Witkowski was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Nykvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rui Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Mondaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 魏常适 in the 56th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Magallanes's Juan Mondaca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Patrício made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 66 minutes into the match, Juan Mondaca notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Benficajuvestars's Rui Patrício. Rui Patrício was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Magallanes made a substitution. Christiano Soffia replaced Alejandro Campbell. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kadim Sebil in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Patrício prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Magallanes defense, Rob Van den Berch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ksawery Witkowski. The Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ksawery Witkowski should have stopped the shot. Magallanes made a substitution. Ida Bagus Leal replaced Elpidio Banda. In the 83rd minute, Magallanes's Rito Encina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rito Encina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Magallanes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rito Encina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Magallanes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Benficajuvestars a penalty, 85 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jerry Nykvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski. 3-2.
