An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Nykvist in the 14th minute of play forced Intendencia AD's goalkeeper Dráusio Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Intendencia AD's Kilian Mbappè dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kilian Mbappè was the one to do the kick off. Benficajuvestars's Rui Patrício played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kilian Mbappè in the 51st minute of play. Rui Patrício showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kilian Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Vilas Boas got free with Dráusio Tróia in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rui Patrício showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Anderson in the 89th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Jeferson Amorim got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rui Patrício quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 92 minutes into the game, Intendencia AD's Eliu Tuver nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Patrício made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Ziemowit Moczkiewicz took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Dráusio Tróia to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Intendencia AD had won after a very even match.
