In the 5th minute Anacleto Dessauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Mondaca in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Gaxan saved Ireland 1921 from getting behind. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Criston in the 13th minute of play. After 17 played minutes, Magallanes's Marta Calderon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Magallanes reached it. In the 20th minute Juan Mondaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Kaider in the 22nd minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Kaider struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ksawery Witkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ireland 1921. In the 31st match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Campbell to maneuver through the defense. Ireland 1921's Generoso Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Mondaca in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Juan Mondaca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Gaxan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aureliano Senin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ksawery Witkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Banaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Mondaca to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Juan Mondaca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Gaxan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 58 minutes into the match, Ireland 1921's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Mondaca came free, but Generoso Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Mondaca in the 59th minute of play forced Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Mondaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Generoso Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Mondaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Juan Mondaca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Gaxan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 68th minute, Guille Aravena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magallanes made a substitution. Kadim Sebil replaced Juan Mondaca. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kadim Sebil in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Gaxan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guille Aravena. Magallanes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Seran Turres in the 79th minute. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Pinho in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kadim Sebil in the 83rd minute of play forced Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ksawery Witkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Banaszak, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Magallanes's Kadim Sebil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Gaxan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play, Magallanes's Kadim Sebil made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Generoso Gaxan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kadim Sebil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ireland 1921! Generoso Gaxan went to the wrong direction when Guille Aravena was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Magallanes's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
