In the 19th minute, Gogo Vimaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gryffindor Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Sebastian Titz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Gryffindor Lions fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Irrintzi should have stopped the shot. Sydney FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Gogo Vimaro scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Titz, making the score, 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
