SAN MARTIN F.C. were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Bergandy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sadettin Talayer took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sadettin Talayer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Franco Di Massa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 20 minutes into the match, Bergandy's goal looked a bit too open when You Nan came free, but Franco Di Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SAN MARTIN F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sadettin Talayer in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Wojciech Kobeko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 26 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Thor Ståhlberg came free, but Chucky Norris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chucky Norris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Ståhlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes Bergandy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sadettin Talayer who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SAN MARTIN F.C.'s corner Celestino Manuelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franco Di Massa quite easily take care of the ball. Wojciech Kobeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Bergandy's goalkeeper Franco Di Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wojciech Kobeko. Prospero Benvido hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SAN MARTIN F.C.'s zone, Sven Granberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chucky Norris came out of the goal and Sven Granberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wojciech Kobeko got free with Franco Di Massa in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franco Di Massa made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Carlos Santana sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Ben Breton made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bergandy's João Candido got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ben Breton might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Di Massa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ben Breton ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to SAN MARTIN F.C. getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Prospero Benvido hit a great ball. Bergandy made a substitution. Per-Olof Forsberg replaced David Pilblad. Bergandy's Ingvar Molander was substituted for Daniel Koch. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Prospero Benvido got a free kick in the 70th minute. Bergandy's Sven Granberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 71st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Chucky Norris but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Bergandy's zone, Prospero Benvido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Di Massa came out of the goal and Prospero Benvido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Jörgen Valrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ben Breton came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SAN MARTIN F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ben Breton couldn't finish the play. Chucky Norris made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ingvar Molander sent off a good shot on target. In the 91stth minute of the game Ben Breton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergandy's Franco Di Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franco Di Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Breton in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes Bergandy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sadettin Talayer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Celestino Manuelo to fire away a dangerous shot which Franco Di Massa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bergandy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sadettin Talayer was slow to take the kick. During this time SAN MARTIN F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Sadettin Talayer made a great header on SAN MARTIN F.C.'s corner, it was just that Bergandy's Franco Di Massa managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SAN MARTIN F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bergandy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
