With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Santana in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qiu Zhi saved SILMONT from getting behind. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Yves Bayle, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Ringaa. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Albaret in the 18th minute of play. Ryan Monvoisin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The throw-in from Ryan Monvoisin in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Santana got free with Qiu Zhi in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Titouan Canal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ronaldo Giovanelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute Thomas Albaret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Santana scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qiu Zhi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes in the game Freddy Escudié did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Thomas Albaret. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Santana got free with Qiu Zhi in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when SILMONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Monvoisin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Qiu Zhi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Santana made a kick off. The throw-in from Ryan Monvoisin in the 50th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara. When Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlos Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qiu Zhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Galo do Japi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cafu Ringaa in the 57th minute. After taking down the ball on Galo do Japi's corner Eriberto de Souza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qiu Zhi quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Galo do Japi's Cafu Ringaa got a free kick in the 60th minute. SILMONT's João Carlos Schmidt was substituted for Freddy Escudié. SILMONT's Javier Bordat was substituted for Thomas Albaret. César dos Santos's late challenge caught a SILMONT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. César dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The corner ended in Cafu Ringaa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SILMONT's Qiu Zhi did a great save. SILMONT's Qiu Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santana in the 80th minute of play. Martial Haas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Giovanelli made a huge save. Galo do Japi's Cafu Ringaa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ryan Monvoisin in the 86 minute of the game. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by SILMONT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cafu Ringaa was slow to take the kick. During this time Galo do Japi's players had a chance to rest. Galo do Japi's Durvalino Caca-Rato was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Qiu Zhi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 92ndth minute of the game Carlos Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SILMONT's Qiu Zhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean-Yves Bayle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Giovanelli having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
