The Bergandy fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Bergandy's Thor Ståhlberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jeffrey de Boer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolf van den Eede stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thor Ståhlberg's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Vught United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bergandy:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Bergandy. Luiz Eduardo Xavier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolf van den Eede. 0-2. Rolf van den Eede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thor Ståhlberg in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Arnout Hof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Xavier in the 32nd minute of play forced Vught United's goalkeeper Rolf van den Eede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolf van den Eede made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 47thth minute of the game Luiz Eduardo Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vught United's Rolf van den Eede was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Eduardo Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vught United's Rolf van den Eede proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Vught United from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Sven Granberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolf van den Eede. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 61st match minute, Vught United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey de Boer to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Sven Granberg in the 61st minute really tested Rolf van den Eede's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Vught United's Rolf van den Eede got control of the ball when Luiz Eduardo Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bergandy made a substitution. Daniel Koch replaced Thor Ståhlberg. Bergandy's Ingvar Molander was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Xavier. The corner led to Bergandy's Daniel Koch getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tom Jurjens hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vught United! Daniel Koch shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ingvar Molander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the last second Rolf van den Eede throw himself and got hold of the ball when Daniel Koch in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Rolf van den Eede made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ingvar Molander sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Ingvar Molander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolf van den Eede was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Bergandy's attentive Daniel Koch managed to snatch the ball when Casper Enström made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Ingvar Molander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Rolf van den Eede skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ingvar Molander in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolf van den Eede, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 91 minutes into the match, Ingvar Molander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolf van den Eede. Vught United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Molander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. In the 94th minute, Daniel Koch fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bergandy's Daniel Koch was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 97th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
