Kamil Gulson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Norberto Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Jeraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hisham Mumtaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Hisham Mumtaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Barsa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Harri came free, but Teodoro Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Barsa FC's Norberto Estevon in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Beirut's goalie prevented a goal. Farid Ayham made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Lautaro Martine sent off a good shot on target. Farid Ayham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Beirut's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Everardo Cresitobalo was slow to take the kick. During this time Barsa FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 35th minute Atletico Beirut were awarded a corner. Afşin Derem went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Atletico Beirut's corner Florencio Harri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodoro Jeraldo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 41st match minute, Atletico Beirut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mostafa Malik to maneuver through the defense. If Hisham Mumtaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afşin Derem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Atletico Beirut were awarded a corner. Afşin Derem went to the cornerflag to take it. Farid Ayham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Estevon in the 53rd minute of the match. Farid Ayham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antim Drashanski in the 54th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Barsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Estevon. Norberto Estevon hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes Barsa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Afşin Derem who took care of the corner kick. Teodoro Jeraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mostafa Malik in the 64th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Teodoro Jeraldo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hisham Mumtaz in the 79th minute of play forced Barsa FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Barsa FC's Işıkalp Zaik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farid Ayham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Barsa FC booed when Atletico Beirut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mostafa Jabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Lautaro Martine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hisham Mumtaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Teodoro Jeraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atletico Beirut players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barsa FC.
