Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo-Wilfried Schouten in the 3rd minute of play. Honu Ng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Beckman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo-Wilfried Schouten got free with Jan-Åke Juhlin in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin got control of the ball when Jo-Wilfried Schouten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Honu Ng made a precise shot to the right of Lorenzo Beckman. Dragons AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Jo-Wilfried Schouten put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Åke Juhlin. A sloppy throw-in by Melquiades Lico in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Åhus Absolut F.C's Ingvar Mellin. 21 minutes into the match, Dragons AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ström came free, but Lorenzo Beckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Leo Sigali fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragons AFC's protests and gave Leo Sigali a yellow card for diving instead. Leo Sigali hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Åhus Absolut F.C's Ingvar Mellin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Melquiades Lico, made in the 27th minute of the game. In the 34th match minute, Dragons AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Sigali to maneuver through the defense. When Dragons AFC's Jo-Wilfried Schouten in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åhus Absolut F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After 43 played minutes Dragons AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Santos. Dragons AFC's Prime Hock was substituted for Natalio Eneto. After a rather tough play, Dragons AFC's Justino Santos got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Ström in the 46th minute of play forced Dragons AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Beckman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prime Hock to make the kick off. Lorenzo Beckman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Leo Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Beckman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Åhus Absolut F.C's Honu Ng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Beckman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 66 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Prime Hock came free, but Jan-Åke Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Åhus Absolut F.C's Lorenzo Beckman threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Ström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 71 minutes of play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Leo Ström made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Beckman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Åhus Absolut F.C made a substitution. King Skott replaced Honu Ng. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Coşkun Sehim got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Prime Hock came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Dragons AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prime Hock couldn't finish the play. Justino Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Juhlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Åhus Absolut F.C getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Leo Ström hit a great ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's attentive Ege Yazargil managed to snatch the ball when Melquiades Lico made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Vilhelm Berg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Lorenzo Beckman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Åhus Absolut F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Åhus Absolut F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
