After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Ioan Mavrodin got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingars Miders stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorge Campos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 52nd minute. Akis Remoundos made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ingars Miders however managed to control. Jorge Campos made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Luiz Eduardo Tróia sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iván Zamorano got free with Jorge Campos in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Caskinha Esporte Clube's Evaristo Ortiz got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Mavrodin in the 91st minute of play forced Caskinha Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Leandro Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caskinha Esporte Clube's Gilberto dos Santos got a free kick in the 94th minute. Caskinha Esporte Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
