Leandro Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantinos Kroustallis in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horaţiu Petran. Gyál United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Eduardo Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Tito Montaño got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Walmir Breckenfeld. 62 minutes into the game, Erwin Bienvenu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Leandro Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 65th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Horaţiu Petran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caskinha Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Gyál United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baleren Acedo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Baleren Acedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Horaţiu Petran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kemal Davarcı got free with Leandro Neves in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Eduardo Tróia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horaţiu Petran having to make a save. Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Caskinha Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kemal Davarcı came free, but Leandro Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kemal Davarcı received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leandro Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Kemal Davarcı slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 79th minute. Caskinha Esporte Clube made a substitution. Evaristo Ortiz replaced Wang Sen Jian. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Betinho de Sousa was substituted for Thor Vennerdal. Walmir Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Leandro Neves made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Iván Zamorano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caskinha Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. The corner ended in Baleren Acedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran did a great save. Horaţiu Petran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Ortiz in the 98th minute of the match. The Caskinha Esporte Clube players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
