An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Fenomeno in the 6th minute of play forced US DI BESTI FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Otto Fenomeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerson Correia's late challenge caught a FC Bredene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerson Correia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Gerson Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Otto Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Bredene booed when US DI BESTI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Ceulemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Ceulemans in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as US DI BESTI FC's Fakir Štriker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Bautmans. That made the score 1-0 after 23 minutes of play. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Fenomeno in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goalkeeper Peter Bautmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fakir Štriker. Gerson Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Otto Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Macedo having to make a save. US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Fenomeno in the 36th minute of play. Otto Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Bredene's Mai Si Liang got a free kick in the 40th minute. FC Bredene's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Costel Runcu in the 45th minute. The corner ended in Costel Runcu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo did a great save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fakir Štriker made a kick off. With his leg Alfredo Macedo managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when FC Bredene's Otto Fenomeno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Otto Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Fenomeno got free with Alfredo Macedo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredo Macedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Otto Fenomeno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. Alfredo Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otto Fenomeno in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Otto Fenomeno made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Macedo. US DI BESTI FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Alfredo Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Brodzki in the 71st minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Otto Fenomeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Macedo. US DI BESTI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Fenomeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 85 minutes into the match, US DI BESTI FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Fenomeno. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otto Fenomeno in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Macedo saved US DI BESTI FC from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Gerson Correia in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Bredene's Lukasz Brack. Otto Fenomeno might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Macedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otto Fenomeno ran back to his position shaking his head. US DI BESTI FC's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Fenomeno in the 96th minute of play. The FC Bredene supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Bredene would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
