In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bredene's goalkeeper Peter Bautmans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to FC Bredene getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Costel Runcu hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes, Alemannia Aachen's Mateusz Rydel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter Bautmans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alemannia Aachen reached it. Patricio Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by La Rat in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Peter Bautmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bredene's Peter Bautmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Müller in the 38th minute of play. The throw-in from Karl Slegers in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alemannia Aachen's Frans Baltzer. Dobromir Brodzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otto Fenomeno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jess Carnduff having to make a save. Jess Carnduff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Patricio Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Mateusz Rydel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Bautmans skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otto Fenomeno to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Lech Wawrukiewicz in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Bredene's Cederic Van Hoeij. After a defensive mix-up in Alemannia Aachen's zone, Otto Fenomeno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jess Carnduff came out of the goal and Otto Fenomeno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when La Rat got free with Peter Bautmans in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by La Rat in the 78th minute of play forced FC Bredene's goalkeeper Peter Bautmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Bautmans was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and La Rat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. La Rat really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 86th minute Otto Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes Alemannia Aachen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Costel Runcu who took care of the corner kick. In the 88th minute, Dobromir Brodzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Costel Runcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th match minute, Alemannia Aachen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Wawrukiewicz to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alemannia Aachen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
