Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakes Justo in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Véber in the 11th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Beloki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Cebrian, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Generoso Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Tham in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Machados FC V2's Iurie Cobzar got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Curcio Alonso got free with Rodrigo Lima in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Beloki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Cebrian's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vodka Stars 1949's goalie and right to Santos Cebrian. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vodka Stars 1949's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 42 minutes of play, Vodka Stars 1949's Jakes Justo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Véber in the 46th minute of play. Machados FC V2's Matthias Tham got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiger Argoud to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Vodka Stars 1949's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Santos Cebrian fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Matthias Tham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Alonso came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakes Justo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Rodrigo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakes Justo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
