Bernabe Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Symons in the 34th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Alejo Eleazar sped through Wolverine A.C.【LBF】's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernabe Benat.

After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito's zone, Froilan Mendiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Boruc came out of the goal and Froilan Mendiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricky Persoens hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
