Su Yao Xiang was slow to take the kick. During this time Caxinha F. C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Caxinha F. Jedi Knights's Isaac Iban was substituted for Robustiano Guillem. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

David Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Yao Xiang in the 56th minute of the match. Mario Astrada hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Jedi Knights defense, Matías Tepedino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Abeijon. The Jedi Knights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Abeijon should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Jedi Knights's Rafael Ferran got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 71 minutes into the match, Geovânio Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Abeijon. Jedi Knights's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovânio Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. David Abeijon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Tepedino went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matías Tepedino in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Abeijon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolfo Mendiko made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Geovânio Proença immediately put the ball in play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jedi Knights's goalkeeper David Abeijon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Su Yao Xiang came free, but David Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Su Yao Xiang in the 95th minute of play forced Jedi Knights's goalkeeper David Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Caxinha F.
