Oiteiras's Narciso Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Narciso Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Oiteiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Tinoco couldn't finish the play. Oiteiras's 彭钢昂 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Mendoza in the 22nd minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Oiteiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dime Darrell to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Tinoco in the 35th minute of play forced TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's goalkeeper Ronald Castaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Tinoco came free, but Ronald Castaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Narciso Tinoco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Alberto Renderos got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arnoldo Toledano. In the 45th match minute, Oiteiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. 彭钢昂 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Mendoza in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Toledano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Toledano took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 彭钢昂. 彭钢昂 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 59 minutes into the game, Narciso Tinoco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ronald Castaneda. Narciso Tinoco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Oiteiras's 彭钢昂 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Rojas in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Oiteiras got a freekick which was hit by Agge Mickelsson. Oiteiras's Amílton Pereira was substituted for Vágner Carioca. Oiteiras's Adilson Reis was substituted for Dime Darrell. Oiteiras made a substitution. Börje Örtendahl replaced Narciso Tinoco. The supporters of TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN booed when Oiteiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agge Mickelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Ronald Castaneda managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Oiteiras's Amílton Pereira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ronald Castaneda was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Amílton Pereira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amílton Pereira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 彭钢昂 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Toledano in the 76th minute of the match. Oiteiras were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. After some careless play in the TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN defense, Adilson Reis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronald Castaneda. The TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronald Castaneda should have stopped the shot. The Oiteiras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Oiteiras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
