In the 5th match minute, Caxinha F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Murdza to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Ulises Mendoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Celsinho Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Castaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Caxinha F. C.'s Silvério Andrade got control of the ball when Arnoldo Toledano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geovânio Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronald Castaneda having to make a save. Ronald Castaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Camargo in the 19th minute of the match. TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's Ronald Castaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Yao Xiang in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Arnoldo Toledano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvério Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ronald Castaneda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Proença in the 25th minute of play. Caxinha F. C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Su Yao Xiang in the 26th minute. The supporters of Caxinha F. C. booed when TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Victorino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronald Castaneda came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Caxinha F. C.'s Matías Tepedino. But to his dismay, Matías Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ronald Castaneda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Tepedino went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Arnoldo Toledano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Matías Tepedino notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's Ronald Castaneda. Ronald Castaneda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's Diego Victorino got a free kick in the 40th minute. Matías Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Castaneda having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remo Proença during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Caxinha F. C.'s Silvério Andrade got control of the ball when Félix Reyes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Toledano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvério Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Toledano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronald Castaneda made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Su Yao Xiang sent off a good shot on target. Geovânio Proença took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronald Castaneda. Ronald Castaneda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. If Arnoldo Toledano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Remo Proença had to leave the field with a concussion. 61 minutes into the game, Alexander Rojas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caxinha F. C. the free kick. Caxinha F. C.'s Zachary Wielgopolski was substituted for Remo Proença. In the 63rd minute, Alexander Rojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronald Castaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Tepedino in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Caxinha F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Mendoza came free, but Silvério Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronald Castaneda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geovânio Proença showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 67 minute of play. A collision led to TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jose Figueroa hit a great ball. Ronald Castaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Tepedino in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Caxinha F. C. were awarded a corner. Su Yao Xiang went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Caxinha F. C.'s Geovânio Proença to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronald Castaneda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matías Tepedino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronald Castaneda came out and tried to block the shot, but Matías Tepedino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 74th minute. Ronald Castaneda came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Caxinha F. C.'s Geovânio Proença. But to his dismay, Geovânio Proença quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Ronald Castaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Saul Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Su Yao Xiang in the 85th minute really tested Ronald Castaneda's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Su Yao Xiang got free with Ronald Castaneda in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Alexander Rojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celsinho Camargo's late challenge caught a TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celsinho Camargo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TEAM HONDURAS ROATAN booed when Caxinha F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Caxinha F. C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caxinha F. C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
