A nice corner shot did that Sandro Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Loren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tomé Oliveira was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Silverio Barrionuevo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silverio Barrionuevo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Volvio Moreno's Manuel Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Campidelis in the 18th minute of play. Tomé Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match, João Carlos Porto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomé Oliveira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Albertinho de Andrade hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Raúl Noriega got free with Tomé Oliveira in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Carlos Porto in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Tomé Oliveira throw himself and got hold of the ball when João Carlos Porto in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 40 minutes, Magno Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. and the Volvio Moreno players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magno Nunes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Raúl Noriega came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Volvio Moreno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Noriega couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Volvio Moreno booed when Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Wydrych didn't get a good kick on the ball. Volvio Moreno's Haroldo Presebal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.. In the 46thth minute of the game João Carlos Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A sloppy throw-in by Ernani Hoffmann in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Donato Botelho. Thanks to some nice moves Donato Botelho could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Manuel Loren however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Sandro Alvarenga to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Loren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Volvio Moreno were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Haroldo Presebal took the corner. Manuel Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Botelho in the 58th minute of the match. Tomé Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Noriega in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Barrionuevo in the 62nd minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Barrionuevo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Oliveira. Tomé Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Raúl Noriega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Volvio Moreno made a substitution. Gabirel Garantos replaced João Carlos Porto. In the 83rd minute of the match Haroldo Presebal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomé Oliveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Caco Guimarães got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tomé Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabirel Garantos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Tomé Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabirel Garantos in the 91st minute of play.
