Yu Jie Xing ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Yu Jie Xing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isac Drâmba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yu Jie Xing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Unicorns ™ got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Mihalcea. If Yu Jie Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute of the match Rogelio Espiridion sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isac Drâmba skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Clive Holloway got control of the ball when Tudor Bodea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Isac Drâmba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Jie Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yu Jie Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Yu Jie Xing came free, but Isac Drâmba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Staffordshire Terrier FC made a substitution. Alex Zanardi replaced Yu Jie Xing. Isac Drâmba was a little too slow when Alex Zanardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 61st minute, Staffordshire Terrier FC's Alex Zanardi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isac Drâmba. When Dumitru Geoană fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicorns ™'s protests and gave Dumitru Geoană a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Unicorns ™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Staffordshire Terrier FC:s goal. Alex Zanardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
