Edvaldo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Calopsita EC got a corner. SAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fábio Arósio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luiz Fábio Arósio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SAS's Edvaldo Brasil did a great save. When Lauro Zanette fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAS's protests and gave Lauro Zanette a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Lauro Zanette hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Guilherme Paraense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Calopsita EC's Luisão Marinho got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Luiz Guilherme Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SAS's Edvaldo Brasil got control of the ball when Semih Şentürk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Guilherme Paraense in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Calopsita EC's Edu Santos. But to his dismay, Edu Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Calopsita EC's Semih Şentürk got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Edu Santos lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Edvaldo Brasil. Edvaldo Brasil made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Anak Dewa sent off a good shot on target. Edvaldo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Santos in the 74th minute of the match. The Calopsita EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
