In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C.'s goalkeeper Bai Bin Jing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 8 minutes HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Van Landschoot who took care of the corner kick. Bai Bin Jing came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Bruly's Joseph Neels. But to his dismay, Joseph Neels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C.'s goalkeeper Bai Bin Jing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Van Linthout having to interfere. When 史浩远 fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruly's protests and gave 史浩远 a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 22 minutes, Joseph Neels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Neels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bai Bin Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Neels in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Neels came free, but Bai Bin Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Joseph Neels managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruly's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Neels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bai Bin Jing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joseph Neels hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C.'s Bai Bin Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Neels in the 40th minute of play. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Alonso in the 43rd minute of play. Bai Bin Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Neels, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Bruly were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Sidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruly's 史浩远 has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 50th minute. Conrado Bartoli charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Javier Van Landschoot placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck couldn't finish the play. Bai Bin Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of Bruly booed when HIJOS DE BUJAN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bruly supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bruly would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
