The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Willy Van Linthout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Bartu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Aldulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Neels in the 14th minute of play. Willy Van Linthout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykut Bartu in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Cetatea Suceava's Cristiano Ronaldinho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willy Van Linthout was left in no man's land by his defense there! Willy Van Linthout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aykut Bartu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Tao Xiong Xuan came free, but Willy Van Linthout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willy Van Linthout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aykut Bartu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Willy Van Linthout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aykut Bartu's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. A hard shot 39 in the game by Joseph Neels from a close distance when the talented Liviu Aldulescu managed to make a qualified save. Cetatea Suceava's players were relieved. In the 42nd minute Bruly were awarded a corner. Javier Van Landschoot went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Joseph Neels to score against Liviu Aldulescu in Cetatea Suceava's goal. 1-2 after 43 minutes. The Bruly players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cetatea Suceava were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joseph Neels to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykut Bartu in the 52nd minute of play. When Joseph Neels came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Aykut Bartu sped through Bruly's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Willy Van Linthout. 68 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Ronaldinho came free, but Willy Van Linthout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cetatea Suceava's Cristiano Ronaldinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willy Van Linthout. That made the score 1-4 after 72 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tao Xiong Xuan got free with Willy Van Linthout in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Aykut Bartu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Willy Van Linthout. The goal made the score 1-5. In the 86th minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liviu Aldulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Willy Van Linthout didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-6. In the 94th minute Aykut Bartu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Van Linthout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cetatea Suceava walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
