The Herrier fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Herrier's Prudencio Lehior looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lars Malmgren thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Liviu Aldulescu, a very annoying self made goal in the 13th minute which led to 0-2. Justo Izotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aykut Bartu's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Justo Izotz made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Aykut Bartu sent off a good shot on target. Aykut Bartu had several of the Herrier's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Justo Izotz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Justo Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aykut Bartu in the 23rd minute of the match. Prudencio Lehior blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Liviu Aldulescu having to make a save. With a left leg Justo Izotz saved Herrier from getting behind. The supporters of Cetatea Suceava booed when Herrier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position.
